Building the mainline release of nginx for Fedora & EPEL
- Add the appropriate repo (generally at /etc/yum.repos.d)
yum install nginx-mainlineor
dnf install nginx-mainlineas appropriate
- Start nginx as normal (this package does not change the name of the binary)
This package conflicts with nginx-pagespeed and the official Nginx mainline release. Force install at your own risk. (At the very least, the nginx binary will be overwritten, no renaming has occurred.)
This package WILL upgrade your existing nginx install if you installed it from the Fedora/EPEL repos. It obsoletes any nginx package <1.7.0, which is all existing builds in fedora koji, for Fedora <=21 and EPEL.

EPEL6/7 builds provided because the official mainline nginx repo doesn't appear to enable most plugins, unlike the EPEL version.
Not building for EPEL5 because the RPM package checksum mechanism changed in RPM 4.4.x, so the source RPM can't be built.
Fedora >= 22 builds not provided, the Fedora repos are tracking mainline.
No testing beyond "Does this package build" is done. Use at your own risk, YMMV, etc.
