This project provides RPM packages containing the
vcgencmd program for checking Raspberry Pi's hardware information, along with other artifacts built from the sources at https://github.com/raspberrypi/userland.
Enable this Copr repository, and install the
raspberrypi-userland package to the Fedora system on your Raspberry Pi.
For more information about installing and building the package, please visit here.
The official documentation of
vcgencmd can be found here.
Please note, you might need super user privilege to run the
vcgencmd program successfully. In other words, unless you are running
root, you have to use
sudo vcgencmd or anything equivalent. Otherwise, you might run into the
VCHI initialization failed error. This behavior was observed on some Raspberry Pi 4's running Fedora 32 and Linux kernel 5.7.10.
The source RPM does not support cross compiling from
x86_64 yet, nor can it be used to build native
x86_64 binary RPMs.
The following unofficial repositories are provided as-is by owner of this project. Contact the owner directly for bugs or issues (IE: not bugzilla).
