A modern, simple to use, constantly evolving and hella fast MEDIA CUTTER + JOINER w/ frame-accurate SmartCut technology + Qt5, libmpv, FFmpeg and MediaInfo powering the backend.
Installation Instructions
VidCutter packages are also maintained at RPMFusion or UnitedRPMS repos which also contain all dependencies so its easier then using this repo but they may be late with new versions by a few days (at most!)
Using this COPR repo requires you to enable a third-party repo for the multimedia dependencies required by VidCutter.
RPMFusion or UnitedRPMS can be used to supply the multimedia dependencies required by this repo.
Why third party repos? Are they safe?
The why is that all this is due to the requirement of several multimedia libraries that are free for common everyday person usage, but not 100% open source/free as per the Free Software Foundation's requirements, which we are not demeaning here as its important open-source software strives for this target, although its near impossible with multimedia natured apps due to the hundreds and thousands of different open-source license types that each and every media codec, filter, format container, compression algorithm (to name a few) utilise or some only available in blob binary format etc.
And, of course these recommended repos are safe! They are well known, well-established repos that have served the Fedora community for many years already.
