This is the repo for the latest version.
Repo with the stable version is here: https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/yopito/burp2

What's here: Unofficial binary packages of burp backup software ( http://burp.grke.org/ ).
Provides the following latest versions that are not available through EPEL or Fedora yum repos:

  • burp 2.x for Fedora and el6, el7 with help of EPEL (package dependencies)

Current version: burp 3.1.4 (2023-05)

  • 2024-01 added repo for fedora 39
  • 2024-05 added repo for fedora 40

NB : EPEL el5 packages are not provided anymore here: el5 is EOL since end march 2017, so Fedora COPR does not offer build infrastructure for this distribution.

Installation Instructions

  • Install this repo definition in your yum repo list :

    • from the "Repo Download" button below corresponding to your distribution (save as file /etc/yum.repos.d/yopito-burp2-latest.repo for instance)

    • On Fedora systems, you can also use the dnf copr command:

      $ sudo dnf copr enable yopito/burp2-latest
    • you might want to use this repo only if nothing else match:

      $ sudo echo priority=98 >> /etc/yum.repos.d/yopito-burp2-latest.repo
  • install the package with one of the following commands:

    • burp client:

      $ sudo yum install burp2-client
    • burp server:

      $ sudo yum install burp2-server
